We are currently in the middle of migrating our server setup from esx to qbox, so having a script with open source bridge was very important for us. On our previous esx build we had an old free treasure hunt resource that was causing constant red errors in console whenever players tried to dig on non-valid soil. Decided to buy this metal detecting script to replace it completely. The upgrade is night and day. Setup took around 15 minutes, and changing framework configs during our test wipes was effortless because of the bridge. The audio beeps and props work without issues, and having 5 tiers of detectors gives our civs actual progression. We tuned the loot table a bit so high level detectors drop better items. Very solid resource so far, zero console errors since we dropped it in.

Picked this up about a month before we ended up shutting down our city. We were trying to give our civilian playerbase more stuff to do outside of standard group jobs, but this just fell completely flat with our community. Installed easily enough and the audio cue system works fine tech-wise, but after the first night almost nobody touched it again. The loop of walking around listening for beeps to level up detectors just couldn't compete with the heist and drug stuff on our server. Even after lowering the XP grind and adding custom shop payouts to make it more profitable, players complained it was tedious and went right back to criminal RP. Script itself ran fine without throwing errors, but for our player count it ended up being a wasted purchase that did nothing to hold civ activity before we closed up shop.
