The Electus Bodyguard script adds an AI bodyguard system to your server. Players can hire, command, and manage AI peds for personal protection, driving assistance, or combat. Gang members can recruit members directly off the street, police officers can execute /backup to call in AI police units, and players can rent bodyguards from shops.

We are running qbcore with ox_lib and ox_target on our city. Dropped this in alongside our existing setup and it worked without fuss. The target interaction on the peds worked straight away. Took a little trial and error in the config to dial in the max slot limits and shop pricing so new players wouldn't instantly buy armies, but once that was sorted it's been great. solid release for a free script.
Running a peak 120 slot qbox server means I am usually pretty hesitant about adding any script that spawns extra AI peds into the world. AI logic usually tanks server performance fast when population gets high. Decided to test this out during our evening peak after reading it runs on ox_lib. Honestly surprised by how lightweight it is. Idle resmon stays locked at 0.00ms, and even when several cops used /backup during an active situation while a group of gang members had recruited peds following them in cars, resmon barely flickered up to 0.06ms for those clients. The driver menu feature is actually used heavily by our high command and VIPs without causing any sync issues or lag spikes for nearby players. Been running it for two weeks now without a single issue. Absolute W for our server.
